My friend says he takes his ethernet cord and plugs it into the ps2 to get online but although this got me into it, it wouldnt connect to play with other people. Should I get an adapter and what do they cost/where would i get one?

I know ps2 is obsolete but I’m not getting a ps3 due to the lack of games and price and the popularity of ps2. Madden 09 will probably still come out for ps2 anyway. Thanks.

i try cleaning the laser thingy and it still didn’t work. i clean it by using a napkin. or did i have to use the cleaning thing?

( If you are on PS2 side, isn’t the graphic of PS2 games worse that xbox360 ? because as i said, i play games on xBox 360 and i do not want to get disappointed due to lack of graphic of games and also do they still make new games for PS2 ? )

However, my PS2 is unable to read this particular CD-R game. Here is what I did to back it up from my friend’s original copy:

I used Ahead Nero (7th Ultra Edition), stuffed the original copy into my CD writer, selected “CD-ROM (ISO),” dragged all files from the original to this new .iso image file, switched the main recorder to “Image Recorder,” and started the process.

The .iso file is made. Afterwards, I used Alcohol 120%, chose “Image Burning Wizard,” browsed for the .iso file, clicked “Next >,” chose the Datatype as “Play Station 2,” took out the original and put in a blank CD-R disc into my CD writer, put writing speed at 16X, and started the burning process.

Any solutions for this? Many thanks for reading.
